Is it Really that Big of a Deal
I am married and currently a stay at home wife and mom. I say currently because I am going back to the workforce because of the economy, not because I want to. I enjoy being a stay at home wife and mom. That is something I will write more about later in another blog. What I really want to talk about in this post is about when to make a big deal and when not to make a big deal.
Below is a little something I wrote and wanted to share with you. Whether you are a stay at home wife/mom or not, you can probably relate to this with your husband and/or children. It is something I work on in my own life constantly. I am no where near perfect and some days are a lot better than others, but I keep trying.
I hope you enjoy it. Let me know what you think. Also, feel free to share with others. Enjoy!
Is it Really that Big of a Deal?
Is it really that big of a deal? We need to ask ourselves that question more often. If things were put into prospective then things might go a lot smoother. We need to learn to let things go. I know, it is a lot easier said than done.
Why is letting things go so important? Life is a lot less stressful that way. Life is a lot more enjoyable. I am talking to myself just as much as I am talking to you about this. It is about learning what to make a big deal and what not to make a big deal.
When looking at things it is important to look at the big picture and ask ourselves, is it worth getting that upset about. Is it easier to just not say anything and let it go and take care of it yourself? Maybe they don’t clean the house like you do, do the dishes like you do, or sort the clothes like you do. Did the cleaning, dishes and laundry get done? These are just a few things to think about letting go and be glad you they tried or made an attempt to do something.
Why should I just let it go if it got done? It will elevate stress in your life. Also, if you thank them for doing it, you never know, they may keep doing it. Why, if it isn’t done your way you may ask? Because they are helping you or at least not adding work to what you need to do.

Excellent post! You are so right, we can all learn to enjoy life a lot more if we did not sweat the small stuff.
Thank you. It is a good reminder to be thankful that the little things help out too. It is a reminder for me as well.
