I am really thankful for the time I have had with my family yesterday, April 16, it was such a blessing.  Every day we are alive is a blessing, but I think yesterday was truly a blessing.

Yesterday afternoon while our daughter was taking her afternoon nap, my husband and I were in the backyard working on my husbands softball skills.  He is playing on a church softball league this summer and wanted to get some practice in.  I threw the balls to him so he could have batting practice.  Then after our daughter woke up we took her to the local park and again my husband and I had batting practice.  Upon completing batting practice we took her to the play gym at the park.  It is the first time she has really been on a play gym.  She wasn’t sure about the slides, the first one I picked her up and let her go down and daddy caught her.  The second slide she went down with daddy.  When it was time to leave she didn’t want to go, even though she didn’t want to go down the slides any more.

This morning it was funny because I changed a very wet diaper and within about 10 minutes, if that, it was filled again, except the smell gave it away.  Isn’t that the way it is, you change their diaper and have to change it again pretty soon.

It was great to enjoy the afternoon yesterday with the family.  What a day and a memory.
