Today is another beautiful Friday so far.  Last Friday it was beautiful and than rained later in the day.  It sounds and looks like it will do it later on today as well.  That is o.k. because we need the rain here in Virginia.  I am looking forward to taking Lydia on a walk if it remains nice.  

While Lydia is napping I am looking forward to getting a few things done around the house.  Through out the day I hope to work on some articles and hope to hear from the work at home company.

Earlier this morning during my devotions I was reading Proverbs 8.  Part of verse 17 stuck out to me.  It was talking about diligently seeking God.  Do I diligently seek God?  I do sometimes, at least most of the times.  What keeps us from diligently seeking God?  Life is so much better when I do what God wants in my life.  I accomplish more, get more done and enjoy life a lot more when I diligently seek God.   I want to do a better job of diligently seeking God.  I know I am not anywhere near where I need to be.  Some days are better than others for me.  I need to be more consistent.  

I am finding that when I get up early in the morning I am able to get started with my time with God.  I get a chance to really spend time with God and see what He has to say to me.  It is exciting to see Lydia when I am having time with God during the day.  She wants to see what is going on.  She wants to have the Bible to look through herself.  She has her own Bible and we are encouraging her to do that and even read it to her.  She likes to act like she is reading herself.
